This hotel staff was so worried about customers smoking in there room.I agreed to not smoke or face a 200 dollar fine.I kept my end of the deal.In return i asked for a wake up call at 6 am which never came, making me late to work.This is unacceptable and i will never stay at super Late hotels again.You should be ashamed of this La Mesa. it was clean with no smells, the staff was friendly, I felt safe, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was clean. What more could you ask for?

The bed was exceptionally comfortable. the location was marvelous, really close to San Diego downtown, Sea World, and a delicious Asian restaurant. the area was very nice and quiet.

The staff was very friendly. While it was a budget motel, there was nothing shabby about it and it was immaculate! We enjoyed our stay!

This location was excellent and convenient for my trip. The flexibility of the housekeeping staff to accommodate my rest and personal needs was great!

The continental breakfast was very mundane with repeat offerings every day of my stay. Variety would have been appreciated. On-site laundry would be an improvement.

There was a large-scale power outage the day of our scheduled arrival. Therefore, we could not check in until the following day. The staff at the Super 8 explained the situation and were very accomodating the following day!

Booked a room with a king bed and found it had an iron and storage space, exactly what I needed.

The remodeled rooms were nice. The location was quite good as well, for what I needed on this visit.

The bed was uncomfortable so it made falling asleep difficult. The parking is terrible if you get there late - small spaces make it hard to get luggage in and out of the car when someone parks next to you.
